Reconeixement al festival TAC! d'Arquitectura

A group of 5 people from the ETSAB have obtained the Mention 3 at the TAC! Architecture festival, in the San Fernardo city competition. The team is formed by Marta Doménech Rodríguez, David López López, Còssima Cornadó Bardón, Arthur Machado Dinis and Kenzo Furumoto de Oliveira. David López and Còssima Cornadó are part of the Department of Technology.
TAC! is an annual festival, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda in collaboration with the Arquia Foundation, which promotes innovation and experimentation in architecture through the construction of a temporary pavilion in different cities of the Spanish geography.
The proposal of the ETSAB team focuses on the creation of multifunctional public spaces, designed to promote social interaction, cultural expression and dialogue between a wide diversity of people. These spaces will be managed in a way that guarantees human development and promotes coexistence, connectivity and social inclusion.
The "Jardín de las Delicias"; in the Plaza del Rey in San Fernando embodies this innovative vision. By integrating a metal scaffolding structure with a vertical garden of C4 floors, this architectural pavilion becomes an emblematic space that symbolizes the city’s commitment to sustainability, culture and social inclusion.
With its multifunctional design, the "Jardín de las Delicias"; not only will it provide a climate refuge in the middle of the urban environment, but it will also serve as a vibrant cultural center and a meeting place for the community. Here, citizens will be able to participate in cultural activities, enjoy exhibitions and outdoor events, and connect with nature and among themselves.
The "Jardín de las Delícias"; personifies the vision of San Fernando City Council to create public spaces that promote human development and promote coexistence and social inclusion. This innovative project reflects the city’s commitment to a sustainable and prosperous future, where culture and knowledge are the pillars of a vibrant and dynamic community.
