Master's Degree in Structures in Architecture

In the next academic year 2025/2026 the line “Structures in Architecture” of the Master’s Degree in Advanced Studies in Architecture (MBArch) is reactivated. The MBArch is an official one-year program (60 credits) organized by the Barcelona School of Architecture with several lines of specialization. In addition, you can choose to obtain a double specialty with a greater number of optional subjects (90 credits).

The Structures in Architecture line offers advanced training that combines the rigor of structural analysis with the ability to integrate structure into architectural design from its early phases.

This program is designed to provide a deep understanding of the behavior of structures, addressing both traditional materials and innovations in the sector. Through the use of advanced calculation tools, contemporary analysis methodologies and the study of real cases, students acquire the necessary skills to face structural challenges with a critical and proactive vision, both in new construction and in rehabilitation projects.
