Build with volta catalana - 16 de juny

The Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation awarded a Joan Oro 2023 Grant to the project La volta catalana. De la tradició a la innovació, presented by the professors of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya David López López (Dept. of Architectural Technology) and Marta Domènech Rodríguez (Dept. of Architectural Projects). Thanks to this grant, in collaboration with the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC), on the occasion of the Eixample Architecture Festival (in the framework of the 2024 Architecture Weeks) and with the reception of the Diputació de Barcelona, the Conferences Construir amb volta catalana are presented.

These will take place on Sunday, June 16 at the Escola Industrial (Carrer del Comte d’Urgell, 187, Barcelona) in the Ramon Llull Residence Building, and will start at 10:00 a.m.
The day will consist of conferences, a workshop open to citizens exploring architectural forms with models, and the inauguration of the exhibition La volta catalana. De la tradició a la innovació.
