Apr 01, 2025
On February 28th, issue 57 of ACE: Architecture, City and Environment journal, was published.
The journal, edited by CPSV, a research group within our department, is indexed in the ESCI of WoS JCR-JCI and in SCOPUS-SJR, located in both cases in Q2 in the areas of "Architecture" and "Urban Studies." Also, in the 70th percentile of the CiteScore.
With this issue, the journal completes nineteen years of uninterrupted publications, every four months. This time, eleven interesting works have been published, eight of these in the Article’s section and three in the Thesis section. On this opportunity, studies are published at different scales, both from territorial areas subject to the effects derived from the phenomenon of climate change, as well as from the particularities of inhabiting public spaces or the project; both urban and architectural with three interesting cases. Likewise, works that study social problems such as residential segregation (at two scales), vulnerable neighborhoods, the arrangement of elements in public space, the recovery of structures for sociocultural facilities or the energy communities and governance.
"Architecture, City and Environment" is the name that reflects the open spirit of our journal dedicated to the study of the human habitat in broadest perspectives, scales and approaches. ACE is an interdisciplinary platform for research in architecture, urban planning and territory, open to new forms of study and designed to disseminate results in our own languages.
