AVS Awards" ceremony, Oviedo 2022
The Hotel de La Reconquista, in Oviedo, was the venue late yesterday afternoon for the presentation of the "AVS 2022 Awards", a biennial recognition that this year has reached its VIII edition. The event was attended by a varied representation of different sectors related to public housing, as well as institutional representatives, including Melania Alvarez, Councilor for Social Rights and Welfare of the Principality of Asturias; Anselmo Menéndez, Deputy Director General of Housing Policy and Aid of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda; Patricia Bezunartea, Director General of Family Diversity and Social Services of the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030; Sorcha Edwards, Secretary General of Housing Europe; Héctor Illueca, Second Vice President of the Consell and Councilor for Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture of the Generalitat Valenciana; Mario Yoldi, Director of Housing Planning and Operational Processes of the Basque Government; and Eva Mª Tubío, Councilor for Housing of Cádiz.
ACCÉSIT for "Rehabilitation for the reconversion of the former CEIP Miguel Hernandez in housing for the elderly" (Award collected by Miquel Bauganh, from GRAMEPARK, Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Marc Seguí Pie, from Segui Arquitectura - Professor of the Department of Architectural Technology).
